Samsung rolls out its latest mobiles-Champ and Omnia Lite in Indian market

Samsung Electronics has introduced its new range of handsets including Samsung Champ and Omnia Lite in India.

Samsung Champ is a complete touch mobile with the capability to function as a Music Player with a 3.5mm ear jack and dual speakers. It incorporates the Sound Alive 3D effects that offer the superior quality of sound. It features Wireless FM and 30 MB internal memory that can be expanded up to 8GB.

Some other features of the Samsung Champ are-

* 2.4” QVGA touch screen
* 3 page extended menu
* Touchwiz Lite 2.0 and a Stylus Pen. Home screen can be extended up to 7 pages.
* Supports 7 social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, Photobucket, Flickr, Friendster, Picassa, and Twitter. Users can upload photos to their social networking sites through Samsung Communities and download content from Samsung Apps.
* Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0.
* VGA Camera and Image Editor, Advanced Mobile Tracker, SOS Message.
* The handset has 1000 phonebook and 500 SMS memory and a 1000 mAh memory which offers 12 hours of talk time.

On the other hand, Samsung Omnia Lite operates on Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro Edge that enables users to view, edit MS Word, MS Excel, Powerpoint slides and view pdf files and can also enjoy MS Exchange Server Push e-mail. Push email with Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus NoteTraveler support automatic email updates and the user friendly, touch optimized inbox lets the users access emails without a stylus. The MS Active Sync offers sync between the PC and Mobile while the Windows Open OS opens-up a whole new world of applications and games.

Some important features supported by Omnia Lite are-

o The one finger zoom of the Omnia Lite enlarges or minimizes pages with a thumb.
o Preinstalled with online widgets like weather, news search and stock. Users can also choose from more than 80 online widgets from the Samsung Widget gallery.
o Provides DiVx and Xivd support with which users can access a range of multimedia features without the necessity for converting files for video player.
o With DLNA, users can wirelessly send and receive media to other DLNA enabled devices.
o A 3 MP camera and 3D photo album.
o The 250 MB internal memory expandable to another 32GB and the 1500 mAH battery provides talktime upto 10 hours.

The Samsung Champ (C3303) is priced at Rs. 4,500 while the Samsung Omnia Lite (B7300) is available with the price tag of Rs. 17,560.
