A phone that can make even deaf to listen-Amplicom M6000 introduced @ 119.99 pounds

August 3, 2010

Hard of hearing your cell’s ring tone? Don’t worry, the latest handset Amplicom M6000 is there for you to solve your problems. The cell phone with a 100 decibel ring tone, as loud as a South African vuvuzela, has finally been launched.

It seems this phone has been introduced for the old aged people as it includes large screen, extra large letters, no frills and ear-splitting volume settings and the earpiece that can be set to a notch higher – 110 decibels.

The standard earpiece volume of the M6000 goes up to 30dB, but a ‘boost’ function enables it to be increased right up to 110dB – louder than a motorbike or average thunderclap, and almost as noisy as being at a rock concert.

The phone doesn’t features camera but incorporates certain features like an SOS button on the back which can be set to ring a relative in an emergency, a motion sensor which can be set to automatically ring 999 or an emergency contact if the user falls over.

The handset is available with the price tag of 119.99 pounds.
