Nokia Ovi Life to cover more subscribers in semi-urban India

In order to offer Nokia Ovi Life Tools to a many more consumers in rural and semi-urban India, Nokia has declared a tie-up with Tata DoCoMo, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices. The service is available in 18 states across India and it will be offered in eleven languages of the country.

The collaboration of Nokia and Tata DoCoMo work to offer Nokia Ovi Life Tools services to all of the Tata DoCoMo subscribers. The service offers news alerts for the purpose of works related to agriculture and education schemes. Other relevant information also will be directly given to thousands of users of the service. .

The service Nokia Life Tools Agriculture is being offered across 18 states and in 11 regional languages. The service comes in the options of 2 plans. The basic plan offers daily weather updates to the users and relevant agriculture-related news, advice and tips at Rs. 30 per month. A premium plan at Rs. 60 per month provides the market prices for three crops chosen by the subscriber. This plan also offers weather information, news, advice and tips. Preferred educational service for Rs. 30 per month are made available to learn English, general knowledge or exam tips. Nokia Life Tools is being offered in 11 Indian languages – Hindi, , Punjabi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Oriya and English Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu.
