Lara Bingle’s stolen Aston Martin recovered

January 2, 2010

The stolen Aston Martin sports car of Aussie model Lara Bingle has been recovered.

The 250,000 dollars luxury car, which was stolen from the security garage at 22-year-old Bingle’s exclusive Bondi apartment, was found at Coogee in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

The handcrafted vehicle had minor damages, and its makers had said it was the first time in the world an Aston Martin had been stolen without the thief having a set of keys.

“Aston Martin is very disappointed to hear of the loss of Lara Bingle’s Aston Martin V8 Vantage,” the Daily Telegraph quoted the statement as saying.

“All Aston Martins have the highest level of security built into them in order to deter unlawful entry to the vehicle and eliminate the ability of the vehicle being driven without the uniquely encrypted keys.

“Aston Martin is unaware of any of our vehicles having previously been stolen without the thief having a set of keys,” it concluded
