Vodafone introduces its foremost Solar Powered mobile phone- VF 247 just for Rs.1500
Vodafone has recently made an official announcement to launch its first solar powered phone- VF 247 in Indian market.
The VF 247 is basically introduced for low end users in rural areas who face shortage of electricity leading to problem of charging their phones.
The VF 247 solar powered phone charges by itself when exposed to ambient light. It incorporates Sun Boost, the special inbuilt hardware and software which ensures that the phone charges in a room in normal daylight. The phone needs eight hours of direct sunlight to be fully charged that would offer standby of more than eight days. The phone also features FM radio, colour display screen and a powerful torch light.
As said earlier it is a low end phone, thus it has been introduced at the affordable price of Rs.1500.
