Bachchans wish Vidya all the best for ‘Ishqiya’
Actress Vidya Balan couldn’t have asked for more. No other than the Bachchan family wished her “all the best” for her latest outing “Ishqiya” that is releasing alongside the Amitabh starrer “Rann” Friday.
Vidya starred with Amitabh and Abhishek in the critically-acclaimed and commercial hit “Paa”. She played Amitabh’s mother in the movie.
“All the best to her (Vidya),” said Amitabh here at the red carpet premiere of “Rann” in the capital Thursday evening.
Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek who were also present at the do, echoed the same.
“We wish all the very best to her,” the couple said in unison.
Also present at the event was the star cast of the film Riteish Deshmukh, Gul Panag and director Ram Gopal Varma. Vivek Oberoi also made an unexpected entry at the event.
Co-produced by Madhu Mantena and Sheetal Talwar, “Rann” also stars Paresh Rawal in a pivotal role. It is about the conflict between business and conscience in the electronic media these days.
